Greetings party monsters! My name is Typist and i'm introducing myself as a new contributor to this wonderful blog. To give you a run down of who i am, I've been DJ'in in Calgary and Lethbridge for the past 3-4 years keeping it real with a wide variety of fresh cuts. My style reflects forward thinking which includes multi-genre live sets and original productions. I'm passionate about local music especially and try and keep my fingers widely dipped in techno, dubstep, drum and bass, house, electro and more. Besides that I'm a student of the University of Calgary and resident DJ of the bass night called Modern Math along side my crew The Rinse Out as well as soon to be guest DJ at the HiFi Club Wednesday night called Northern Lights.

I hope through my experiences and personally i can share with you just a slice of the culture that surrounds us in beautiful Calgary...
